SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT
Cumnor House School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This means that we have safeguarding policies and procedures in place to which all staff and Governors have agreed to adhere. Parents and carers are welcome to read the policies which can be found on this website. Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. When possible and where it is considered to be in the best interest of the child we will ensure that our concerns are discussed with the child’s parents/carers prior to contacting outside agencies. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Paula Talman (School Compliance Officer and Nursing Sister) and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead is Christian Heinrich (Headmaster). The governor responsible for safeguarding is Sarah Jelly.
