We all have questions about religion, especially children!
“Who made God?”
“Did Jesus have to be a man?”
“Why are there so many different religions?”
“Why can’t we make up a new religion?”
The Christian ethos of the school is reflected in an engaging and interactive curriculum, including outings to relevant venues and guest speakers. We understand that pupils may come from all sorts of backgrounds and with all shades of attitudes towards religion and moral values. We aim to provide each child with an accessible foundation of different faiths and how they affect our everyday lives.
Religious and current world affair issues are discussed openly and honestly, with pupils being encouraged to ask questions and develop their own personal philosophies. The children are taught to respect the opinions of others and show integrity and tolerance towards one another.
