House System

Every child from Year 3 on is allocated to one of the four houses; black, blue, red or white. Therefore, each house includes a vertical slice from the school. Most importantly, it allows children to know other children from outside their normal classroom environment. Furthermore this allows older children to have a sense of responsibility and an opportunity to lead.

House Points are awarded to children for demonstrating positive attributes during the course of their school day. This could be – although not limited to – recognising effort, attainment, or positive social skills such  as helpfulness and friendship.

Inter-House Competitions are well contested across a range of events and activities with sport, music and drama all featuring.
