Governors

A dedicated and committed team of School Governors bring a wide range of skills and experiences to their role. These experiences include business, politics, law and medicine and of course education at both prep school and secondary school levels.

Together with the Headmaster and his staff, they guide the overall and future direction of the school.

    Chairman
      Niall FitzGerald KBE (Chairman) is father of one Old Cumnorian daughter.  He has been Chairman and CEO of Unilever, Chairman of Reuters and Chairman of Trustees at the British Museum and is now Chairman of several organisations including The Leverhulme Trust and The Smurfit Business School.  He lives in Lindfield.

      Deputy Chairman
        Nigel Welby (Deputy Chairman & Chairman of Development Committee) is father of three Old Cumnorian daughters.  He is involved with a number of businesses concerned principally with property investment, development and finance.  He is Executive Chairman of Retirement Villages Limited and lives in South Chailey.
