Pastoral support is central to all we do. Our aim is to develop emotionally intelligent children who can start to understand their own emotions, actions and feelings, and begin to understand those of others around them too.
Our pastoral provision is just as important as the academic. In fact, the two are co-dependent – because we know that if a child is happy, secure and confident, their learning will flourish.
Be valued, be heard be known

Be valued, be heard be known
We teach the qualities required for a fulfilling, joyful and active life: resilience, perseverance, independence, honesty and, always, kindness. We actively listen to our children and allow plenty of time for reflection.
We also provide dedicated support where needed. Over and above our highly skilled and emotionally intelligent teaching staff, we have a dedicated Emotional Literacy Support Assistant and Pre-Prep Learning Enhancement specialist in class, as well as a Speech & Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist who visit us each week.

Pupils show exceptionally high levels of self-understanding and emotional maturity for their age. They show an excellent awareness of how to interact with others. Pupils regularly seek to help others and to carry out unseen acts of kindness.
