The Cumnor Foundation is a registered charity (1168316), linked to Cumnor House Sussex. Established in 2016, it represents the cornerstone of our fundraising and philanthropy, and it is already making an impact.
Completely unique in its aim, it gives children from the age of eight full access to a Cumnor education, and thereafter, opens doors to senior schools that can offer ongoing financial assistance through to the age of 18.

We live and breathe the notion of individual opportunity. We believe that every child – irrespective of their background – should be enabled to thrive and realise their full potential.
This is why the Cumnor Foundation was established. To support up to two fully-funded Foundation Scholarships every year, for local children with potential. A Cumnor Foundation Scholarship does not just transform the individual child. It has a positive effect that reaches far wider.

As the 10th anniversary of the Foundation Scholarship programme approaches in 2026, we are on a mission to award more scholarships and strengthen the Foundation for the future.
We are proud of what we have been able to achieve with our Foundation Scholarships and through our community partnerships, but this is just the beginning. We want to go far further and deliver ever greater impact.
Being at Cumnor allowed me to discover who I am as a person, and what I can be in the future.
